 Measurements for Straps for ball gags: The straps are made to order, the default size fits most people, but will have 7 or 9 holes depending on buckle. Custom straps will usually have 3 to 5 holes. To measure we recommend using a piece of thick string or yarn and measuring all the way around the head where the strap will go (including the ball) with the mouth open and then laying the string down onto a ruler to determine the needed strap length. Measurements for balls for ball gags: (with the caveat this is only a recommendation): Ball diameter should not exceed open mouth Height measurement by more then 1/8th of an inch. Best is the diameter is at or below open mouth height. (measure bottom of top teeth to top of bottom teeth wide open) Recommend rounding up no more than 1/8th inch to get correct ball size. If measurement less than 1.5" then recommend adding 1/8th inch. If Measurement over 2.25" then recommend subtracting 1/8th inch from measurement to determine size. Reduce size if the gagee might have any jaw problems  Available Buckles for the standard strap. TPP-SR-BG-Apple APPLE BALL GAG The Apple Ball Gag is more for fun play than serious use. The Apple will NOT stand up to heavy use and is sold "As Is" and without warranty as it is intended to be more decorative than functional. This Version was created after a customer put in a request. Longwatcher had been thinking about it for some time (as in years) and had some ideas that he didn't like, but because of the inspiration of the customer was able to find a reasonably solution that did not involve expensive molds and labor intensive molding and coloring. So we offer it here as a product. While the apple can in theory be worn with just the strap for short periods, it is likely to stay in place better with the ball in place. Please note: the hole in the apple and the strap screws must be sized for the ball to be used (this will also hopefully make sure the hole is neither too large or too small for the intended mouth. Also this is considered an Experimental piece meaning we are not yet sure of the full sizing and requirements for different humans. It worked fine in the test Longwatcher did for himself is all we can confirm. More Background: The balls are made in the U.S.A. specifically for Longwatcher and thus Pleasure Paradox. Our original source passed away in Apr 2012 and we were unable to get more. We had looked for balls that met our standards so we could provide custom straps allowing for a set that is matching in every part. No source we fully trusted was available, so we found a medical parts company in the USA willing to make them to our specifications and the result is what we have for sale these days. We think you will not find a better quality ball in the world for a ball gag. Cleaning: The ball itself can be cleaned in boiling water or using rubbing or isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol is recommended for routine cleaning. The leather strap however has to be treated as any leather product is, but since the strap can be removed it makes it easy to treat separately. The Apples should be cleaned off with hot water only. Sterilization: The ball itself can be medically sterilized in an autoclave, in an oven at up to 550 degrees F (only greater than 275 degrees F is suggested), soaked in bleach, boiled in water or soaked in rubbing or isopropyl alcohol. The ball may yellow slightly or get harder over time and repeated heat treatments will speed this process up slightly, but to date (over decades of use) no chemical breakdown has been noted (meaning the balls should remain safe to use for decades. The balls use an FDA approved medical grade material in the manufacture and no chemicals are added that affect their medical grade qualities. Note though that the balls are not shipped sterile and are likely to have been handled during packaging. Trivia: - K for black and M for Purple are used because CMYK is a photographer's term, which Longwatcher is and M=Magenta, which Purple is closest to Magenta and K is for Black or the black/white intensity value. |
